Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Coordinator to join our team at First Nation school supplies Inc.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

The Business Operations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the HR department, ensuring they meet the organization's goals. This includes arranging seminars, conferences, and other events, as well as assisting with staff consultation and grievance procedures.

You will also be responsible for planning and organizing daily operations, determining and establishing office procedures and routines, scheduling appointments, and performing data entry tasks.

In addition, you will maintain and manage digital databases, coordinate the flow of information within the team, direct and control daily operations, and open and distribute mail and other materials.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Office
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in HR or business operations would be an asset. Additionally, knowledge of computer and technology skills such as MS Outlook and MS Office would be beneficial.
