Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Atlas Copco Rental in Acheson, Alberta, Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the field, supporting our growth strategy as the leader in oil-free air rental business in North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the fleet in the field
  • Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
  • Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
  • Improve measurable success to business targets
  • Document all work performed daily using company-provided hardware and software

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience as an industrial-related field service mechanic
  • Appropriate Electromechanical degree or training
  • Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of different industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics
  • Good command of English, with a second language knowledge a bonus
  • High energy levels
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments, including extremes in temperature, with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling

Location

This position is based in our store in Acheson, Alberta, Canada, with travel to customer sites within the region. The role is hybrid, with a mix of in-store and field work.
