About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Community Leader. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to building strong relationships with our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advertise and showcase our properties to prospective tenants, highlighting the unique features and amenities that set us apart.
  • Close deals and track all rental inquiries, ensuring a seamless and efficient leasing process.
  • Respond to all resident concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner, with the goal of resolving issues and maintaining a positive living environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering all rental inquiries and addressing resident needs in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Generate and deliver notices to residents, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with credit checks and rent collection, as required, to ensure timely payment and minimize delinquencies.
  • Process application forms and email requested documents to our head office for approval.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, including applications, leases, and move-in/move-out inspections, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Review rent roll and receivables, identifying discrepancies and communicating with the Property Management Administrator to resolve any issues.
  • Organize and track all expense receipts, quotes, and purchase orders, participating in company or external audit procedures as needed.
  • Maintain and update resident information in our files and property management software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Be available to residents during assigned working hours and respond quickly to emergency situations, providing support and assistance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Good judgment and innovation, with a willingness to think creatively and develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience, with a strong track record of success and achievement.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of work-related experience.
  • Previous experience in the rental industry, with knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations.
