We're seeking a skilled Claims Representative, Road to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation.
About the Role
As a Claims Representative, Road, you will be responsible for analyzing information, determining liability, and reviewing assessments of damages. You will also check policy details to determine coverage, interview insureds and witnesses to collect statements of events, and provide quality service to external or internal customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze information gathered, determine liability, and review assessment of damages.
- Check details of the Insured's policy to determine coverage.
- Interview the insured and/or witnesses to collect their statements of events to settle claims within your given authority level.
- Provide quality service to external or internal customers.
- Answer queries relating to investigations and the claims process.
- Ensure timely follow up with customers on the status of their claim.
Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Telephone Adjuster, Commercial Adjuster, Total Loss Expert or similar position.
- Strong understanding of the claims process.
- Ability to handle highly complex auto claims.
- Sustain a high level of performance and productivity.
