Claims Representative

We're seeking a skilled Claims Representative to join our team. As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for handling claims, analyzing insurance coverage, and communicating with clients to provide a simplified service that exceeds their expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Listen to clients, clearly explain the claim process, and answer their questions.
- Analyze insurance coverage and explain it to clients.
- Gather information from clients, third parties, and other stakeholders to determine claim circumstances, causes, and eligibility.
- Assess potential liability and direct investigations accordingly.
- Collaborate with claims and underwriting departments, as well as outside specialists.
- Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed of progress.
- Annotate and document files according to company standards.
- Manage external fees and costs.
- Participate in disaster and overflow calls when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date on insurance products and investigative techniques.
- CIP Designation
- Claims adjuster's certificate
- 5 years of experience in roadside claims adjustment
- Comfortable working in a computerized environment
- Bilingual (French and English) for regular interactions with English-speaking clients and colleagues.
