Senior Nuclear and Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer/Scientist to join our team at Kinectrics, a leading provider of nuclear and mechanical engineering services. As a key member of our Advanced Reactor Design section, you will play a critical role in the development and deployment of new nuclear power plants in Canada and around the world.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position that offers a competitive total compensation package and opportunities for growth and development. You will be responsible for providing input and direction to the development of conceptual and detailed equipment designs, as well as performing mechanical engineering analysis and reactor core design and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical oversight and mentoring of more junior members of the Engineering team
- Interface with construction/procurement partners and utility stakeholders to provide practical and effective solutions
- Understand and assess client problems and determine appropriate means of solution
- Stay current with developments within your field of expertise
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Nuclear Engineering, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. You will also need to have or be pursuing the P.Eng. designation, and have a strong understanding of relevant codes and standards.
