Nursery Worker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Nursery Worker to join our team at ART'S ENTERPRISES LTD. As a Nursery Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in the care and maintenance of our horticultural crops, including pruning, weeding, and fertilizing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants
  • Weeding and maintaining soil health
  • Applying fertilizers and other plant care products
  • Digging up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs
  • Mixing and preparing soils
Work Environment:

As a Nursery Worker, you will be working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including wet and hot environments. You will also be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and gloves.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and reliability
Working Conditions:

This is a seasonal position, working 40 hours per week. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions.
