Nursery Worker

At ART'S ENTERPRISES LTD, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Nursery Worker to join our team. As a key member of our horticulture team, you will be responsible for assisting in the care and maintenance of our nursery plants.
Key Responsibilities:- Cut and prune horticultural crops to maintain plant health and promote growth
- Assist in greenhouse cleaning and maintenance to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Weed and prune plants to maintain their appearance and promote healthy growth
- Assist in the preparation and application of fertilizers to promote plant growth
- Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs to prepare them for transplanting
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Work outdoors in various locations, including greenhouses and gardens
- Exposure to wet/damp and hot environments
- Non-smoking work site
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Reliability and ability to meet deadlines
- Team player with a positive attitude
