Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join our team at Toronto Textile Recycling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of workers to meet production goals.
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised to ensure understanding and empathy.
  • Arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control software and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong judgment and organizational skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
Work Environment:

Our warehouse is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be working in a team-oriented setting with a focus on productivity and quality.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
