Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, shipping and receiving activities, and other relevant metrics
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including inventory control software and MS Excel
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff in duties and policies
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to meet business needs
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics, including purchasing and inventory management
Supervision:
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 people, including purchasing and inventory clerks, shippers and receivers, storekeepers and parts clerks, and transportation route and crew schedulers
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
Work Environment:
  • Warehouse environment with exposure to fast-paced and dynamic conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment
