About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our Gas Bar Operations team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing legendary service to our customers, leading a culture of safety, and maximizing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service through various communication channels
- Lead a culture of safety and maximize operational efficiency
- Assist with effectively managing the development and direction of team members
- Assist in overseeing sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and sales for the department
- Provide training to gas bar clerks for all store duties and opening and closing procedures
- Be familiar with and adhere to company policies and government regulations
- Complete daily reports as required, including daily cash up and reconciliations
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures
- Assist with ensuring the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard
- Perform minor repairs to assets as required
- Complete other duties as required
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, who is honest and trustworthy, results-orientated, and strives to be the best in what they do. You should have experience with C-Store/Gas Bar operations and general merchandise items, be attentive to detail, and have strong cash management skills. You must be willing to obtain propane dispenser and WHMIS certifications.
