About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Summa Architectural & Structural Metal Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Site Management
    • Oversee construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations
    • Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Financial Management
    • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting
    • Ensure timely payment to contractors and suppliers
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in construction project management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
