Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join our Taxation team. As a Junior Associate, you will be responsible for preparing corporate and personal tax returns, compilation and assurance engagement files, and associated tax filings. You will also be involved in personal, corporate, and estate tax planning activities, and will have direct communication with clients and other stakeholders throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
  • Preparation of compilation and assurance engagement files
  • Preparation of associated tax filings, including payroll, dividends, trusts, charity, etc.
  • Bookkeeping for clients that require added support with preparing their records
  • Involvement in personal, corporate, and estate tax planning activities
  • Direct communication with clients and other stakeholders throughout the process
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a university degree
  • Registration as a CPA student with CPA Ontario
