Norton Rose Fulbright - Mid-Level Tax Associate

Our esteemed tax professionals in Toronto provide guidance on a comprehensive range of domestic, international, and multi-jurisdictional tax issues for leading organizations and financial entities. Our services encompass tax strategy and advice related to private and public financing, international taxation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, investment funds, and structured finance. We are looking to enhance our team by adding a Mid-Level Associate (2-5 years) with a keen interest and relevant experience in transactional tax matters.

This role offers a remarkable chance to collaborate with a distinguished group of experts at a well-established Canadian law firm that boasts a significant international legal presence. The ideal candidate will possess a JD degree and will also have:

  • The required number of post-call years of experience (as specified above);
  • Experience in private practice or in-house roles, including involvement in transactional matters, corporate tax planning, reorganizations, and financing activities;
  • Strong academic credentials;
  • Exceptional client service skills, interpersonal and communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to learning and initiative;
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a practical, commercially focused perspective.
