Senior Data Scientist

Mosaic Primary Care Network is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business insights and informing data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement advanced data science methodologies to unlock new insights and value from healthcare datasets.
- Lead the practice of leveraging emerging techniques and tools of AI/Generative AI, ML/AutoML, and other advanced analytics to support organizational operations and clinical programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Mosaic PCN data holdings and reports, including methodology notes, analytical plans, data dictionaries, and measure definitions.
- Advise clients on data availability and quality, and provide recommendations for data transformation, imputation, and outlier identification.
- Master's degree in statistics, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a health-related discipline with a strong grounding in data processing and graduate-level statistical analysis training.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in data science/analysis/research, working with spreadsheets, databases, and tools for querying, integrating, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data.
- At least five (5) years of working experience in statistical modeling, data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
- Advanced experience in cloud computing environment, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) Platforms and Services.
- Advanced level of proficiency in BI software, such as Tableau, Power BI, and Amazon QuickSight.
- Advanced experience in explanatory modeling and predictive modeling, including regression modeling, survival analysis, forecasting, decision tree, clustering, classification, and ANN.
- Proficiency in developing analysis in Python and experience with relevant ML libraries and frameworks.
- Skills must include high proficiency in SQL, and implementation of advanced analytics using Python and/or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access) and the ability to become proficient with new software packages.
- Demonstrated aptitude for mentoring and leading a team or project, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
