Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the modernization of cards platforms.
  • Develop and implement software architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure they have the skills needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and their potential applications in the field.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on enterprise integration patterns, including API / Microservice design, Asynchronous messaging systems (Kafka, MQ), relational databases, in-memory databases, resilient architecture.
  • Experience in the cards domain is desired; familiarity with cards networks and PCI compliance is an asset.
  • Experience with structured Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
  • Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global-based systems. Experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development.
  • Performance engineering techniques.
  • Security – secure development principles, OAuth, infrastructure security, public key infrastructure.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and their application.
  • Previous working experience in Agile/Scrum software delivery model.
  • Experience with software design/development in both on-premise and cloud-based environments.
