**Job Summary:**

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team.

This role involves representing security in design and architecture discussions, providing security controls, and working closely with multiple cross-enterprise teams to gather requirements and the adoption of new security products.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience with PCI-DSS, controls design and implementation, as well as 4+ years' GCP security controls experience (services and products) or equivalent certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent security in design and architecture discussions and provide security controls.
  • Work with PCI-DSS team to understand requirements and map them against GCE and GCVE security controls.
  • Create design & architecture materials and present them to the architecture review board.
  • Continuously evolve GCP security controls based on industry best practices and emerging security threats.
  • Work closely with multiple cross-enterprise teams to gather requirements and the adoption of new security products.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience with PCI-DSS, controls design and implementation.
  • 4+ years' GCP security controls experience (services and products) or equivalent certification.
  • 10+ years' experience in IT Security.
  • 4+ years' experience in security controls architecting and solutioning.

**Nice-to-Have Skills:**

  • Experience with deployment and managing IaaS, PaaS & SaaS solutions.
  • GCVE experience.
  • 4+ years' experience in the financial industry.

**Soft Skills Required:**

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fast learner with strong analytical skills and improvement mindset.
  • Able to operate independently within tight time frames.

**Education:** Post Secondary Experience.
