About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at pt Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas of need and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to implement treatment plans and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs to promote patient empowerment and independence.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Supervise and mentor occupational therapy students to support their professional development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services to meet the evolving needs of our patients.
Requirements
  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Previous experience in treating patients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in occupational therapy.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
