Job Summary:
Lifemark is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain or maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide evidence-based interventions, including exercises, activities, and education, to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in occupational therapy.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current registration with the Ordre des Ergothérapeutes du Québec.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is a major asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
