Retail Store Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
As a Retail Junior Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring profitability, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with the Operations Executive and Regional Operations Manager to develop and implement business strategies, manage costs, and maximize sales turnover and returns.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage store profitability and ensure continuity, growth, and profitability of the store.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth and maximize returns.
- Manage costs and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with all legislation relating to the operation of the business.
- Uphold and promote the company values and culture.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Preferably a commerce bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Preferably Financial or Management diploma
- 5-10 years retail experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a junior-mid level management position
- Previous industry-related experience
- Financial acumen
- Inwards and Outwards Logistics/Procurement skills
- Merchandising principles
- Preferably have knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
