Countertop Fabrication Specialist

Job Summary:

FLOFORM Countertops is seeking a skilled Templater to join our team in Edmonton. As a Templater, you will be responsible for creating digital files/templates to be used in creating the final product. This involves programming CNC routers and preparing CAD files for fabrication of custom countertops in a range of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customers' homes/businesses to create templates
  • Complete work orders noting all required measurements, polished edges, cut-outs, and radiuses
  • Advise customers of any modifications required and provide critical information about the templating and installation processes
  • Respond to customer inquiries and communicate relevant information to sales, operations, and production staff
  • Ensure all work orders and completed templates are submitted within 24-48 hours
  • Maintain company vehicle interior and exterior
  • Create accurate digital drawings of countertops and sinks for installation

Requirements:

  • Relevant post-secondary education with 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft office products, AutoCAD, and CAM software
  • Experience with kitchen and/or bathroom construction, installation, or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Templating or Fabrication/Installation/drafting
  • Experience with digital templating
  • Experience in reading blueprints/schematics and measurements with intermediate mathematical skills
  • Strong face-to-face customer service skills, professional appearance, and good communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clear criminal record check
