About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week with English as the primary work language.

Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining up-to-date records for tax purposes.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies.
  • Prepare trial balances of books, verifying that all financial data is accurate and complete.
  • Post journal entries, managing financial data with precision and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain statistical, financial, and accounting reports, providing valuable insights for business decisions.
Requirements
  • A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field (1-2 years of study).
  • At least one year of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Compensation
