Aitchison College of Technology & Health Sciences Inc. is seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing databases to support our business operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science and database administration, with experience in operating database management systems to analyze data. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing data administration policy, standards, and models, as well as researching and documenting data requirements, data collection, and administration policy.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for leading and coordinating teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models. You will also be responsible for writing scripts related to stored procedures and triggers, collecting and documenting user requirements, and providing technical support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement databases to support business operations
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data
  • Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy
  • Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models
  • Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers
  • Collect and document user requirements
  • Provide technical support to the team
