Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents, assessing their needs, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in nursing, preferably in long-term care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
