Nurse Practitioner

Huron County is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Huronlea and Huronview Homes for the Aged. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide holistic health care to residents, administering medications and treatments as needed.
- Lead and supervise members of the healthcare team, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Assess residents' conditions, recognizing and interpreting signs and symptoms, and initiating remedial health measures as necessary.
- Develop and maintain current resident care plans, collaborating with residents, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure individualized care.
- Maintain accurate and complete clinical records, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to established documentation policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Director of Care/Associate Director of Care/Charge Nurse to train, supervise, and evaluate departmental nursing personnel, taking an active leadership role in the department.
- Nursing certificate and registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and computer skills.
- Assessment for Registered RN/RPN Level 1 2.
- CAPCE training or training is an asset.
- Leadership and geriatric experience are assets.

Wage:
- As per ONA collective agreement $ – $, plus vacation pay, shifts premiums, and an amount in lieu of benefits.
