We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sangam Indian Cuisine.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a senior member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of quality, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and develop a team of food service staff to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and meet the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Menu Planning and Inventory Management: Collaborate with our culinary team to plan menus, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of our guests.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure that all food products meet our high standards.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback, providing insights to inform future business decisions.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Food Service Supervisor or equivalent role in a similar environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven track record of success in motivating and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Familiarity with menu planning, inventory management, and quality control procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
