Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist Diploma holder to join our team at Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current. As a key member of our Respiratory Services department, you will provide general and specialized respiratory treatments, diagnostic testing, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct diagnostic testing, such as pulmonary function tests and cardiac stress tests.
  • Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT) from an accredited institution.
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Registration/eligibility with Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapists (SCRT) and Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT).
  • Experience in critical care, pulmonary function testing, and cardiac stress testing is an asset.
