Manufacturing Technician

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Mould Maker to join our team at Ram Plastics Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for instructing apprentices, verifying machined parts, programming CNC machine tools, and setting up EDM and conventional machine tools. Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, laying out metal stock, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Instruct apprentices in the operation and maintenance of CNC machine tools
* Verify machined parts for conformance to specifications
* Program CNC machine tools to produce high-quality moulds
* Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production
* Lay out, shape, and assemble patterns of metal
* Set up and operate EDM and conventional machine tools
Work Environment:
* Fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
* Overtime required to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
* 1-2 years of experience in mould making or equivalent
* Secondary school graduation certificate
Personal Suitability:
* Accurate and detail-oriented
* Flexible and able to adapt to changing production schedules
* Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
* Team player with excellent communication skills
