Lead Game Designer for Interactive Media Studio

Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Lead Game Designer who shares our vision and can translate creative concepts into engaging features and complex systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Define the core systems and global vision for our upcoming game, ensuring a seamless and captivating player experience.
- Implement and balance game features within the engine, utilizing your expertise in Unity to create immersive and responsive player interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified and cohesive development process, effectively articulating ideas and communicating project milestones.
- Mentor a small design team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment that encourages innovation and creativity.
- 6+ years of extensive experience in game design, with a deep understanding of industry trends and player preferences.
- A proven track record of contributing to successfully shipped games, showcasing your ability to bring creative visions to fruition.
- Strong proficiency in 3C (Camera, Character, and Controls) design, as well as level design tools, enabling you to craft engaging and visually compelling game environments.
- Experience in systemic design, handling complex AI systems and navmeshes to ensure intelligent and realistic in-game character behavior.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
