The Director, Organizational Change Management will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive organizational change management strategy, engaging with leaders across the organization to align with institutional objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a change management strategy for key organizational projects, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and guidance.
  • Lead change management initiatives, guiding the development of resources and tools to foster a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide operational leadership, aligning budgets and resources to deliver on initiatives, and prioritizing projects to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor the impact of change initiatives through metrics and benchmarking, determining a process to measure success.

About You

You will be a self-directed natural leader with a collaborative spirit, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships and create a positive organizational culture.

You will have a sound understanding of project management and change management principles, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage complex demands.

You will be able to clearly communicate complex information verbally and in writing, with the ability to influence at all levels and obtain buy-in.

You will have the skills and knowledge to work with a diverse student and staff population, with a proven commitment to anti-oppression, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Business or Psychology or other relevant program.
  • 7+ years of experience as a senior practitioner with sound change management experience within a large, complex organization.
  • Solid working knowledge of database software.
  • Experience with research, analysis, and synthesis of information.
  • Experience with political sensitivity and awareness, discretion, tact, and diplomacy, including considerations around EDI.
