Food Service Manager

The Lot Lounge is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
- Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to provide excellent service.
- Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to our staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize resources.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards, meeting the expectations of our customers.
- Budgeting: Prepare and manage budgets to ensure we are operating within our means.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
- Accessibility: Ensure that our facilities are physically accessible to all customers and staff.
- Newcomer and Refugee Support: Participate in initiatives that support the integration of newcomers and refugees into our community.
- Youth Employment: Participate in programs that support youth employment and education.
- Veteran Support: Participate in initiatives that support veterans and their families.
- Indigenous Support: Participate in programs that support Indigenous peoples and their communities.
- Mature Worker Support: Participate in initiatives that support mature workers and their career development.
- Visible Minority Support: Participate in programs that support members of visible minorities and their communities.
