Food Service Manager

MELT WICH FOOD CO. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all food and service meet our high standards.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
- Work closely with our chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- 3-4 years of experience in a food service role.
- Permanent employment.
- 36 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
