Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team in various capacities, including:

  • Participating in government or community programs that support newcomers and/or refugees
  • Assisting with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Supporting social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Recruiting newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Supporting newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offering mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
  • Providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Not requiring Canadian work experience
Support for Indigenous People
