Job Title: Farm Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Manager to join our team at Loleaf Farm. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining the highest standards of crop production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Animal Care: Diagnose and treat livestock health issues, monitor animal health, and perform animal grooming activities.
  • Crop Production: Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and harvest crops.
  • Feed Management: Track and report on current feed inventory, and direct farm feed inventory activities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • Supervision: Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently, work under pressure, and handle heavy loads.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
