Healthcare Design and Delivery Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Design and Delivery Expert to join our team as a Principal Architectural Leader. As a key member of our healthcare sector team, you will be responsible for leading architectural project teams and delivering high-quality healthcare projects that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural project teams to deliver major healthcare projects, ranging from 80,000 sqft to 800,000 sqft.
  • Interface regularly with architectural and engineering leaders across North America.
  • Develop and maintain industry relationships and visibility.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and brand of Stantec.
  • Mentor and coach the next generation of designers and thought leaders.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Recent experience in healthcare with interest in specialty focus.
  • Acumen related to project delivery innovations.
  • Demonstrated design and planning leadership on major projects.
  • Ability to lead project teams across a range of healthcare project types.
  • Technical understanding of Architecture for health facilities.
  • Experience with strategic pre-positioning for pursuits.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • An entrepreneurial orientation with understanding of business development challenges.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, coordination, leadership, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of market assessment techniques.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
  • Licensed and credentialed Architect is preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in the AEC industry.
  • LEED AP Credential preferred.
