Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Nephrology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nephrology program.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage patients with end-stage renal disease, including those on hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-management and improve health outcomes
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Master's degree in nursing or related field
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Experience working in nephrology or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is $123,000 - $143,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, pension plan, and paid time off.
