**Job Summary**

The Health & Home Care Society of BC is seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer. As the organization's top executive, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of its operations, including fundraising, program development, financial management, and staff supervision.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Oversee the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with its mission and vision.
  • Lead the senior management team in achieving operational priorities and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external partners, including donors, funders, and community leaders.
  • Provide institutional knowledge and context to the Board of Directors, ensuring effective governance and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Board to guide strategy development and set priorities.

**Requirements**

  • Proven track record of success as a senior leader in the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization to various audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term planning.
  • Experience in fundraising and financial management, with a strong understanding of the BC healthcare system.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field, with a strong background in healthcare administration.
