About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team at dotCMS. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in helping customers understand the value proposition of our cloud-based Universal CMS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in customer calls to identify technical needs, goals, and challenges, and recommend a path forward.
  • Present and showcase how new and existing dotCMS features can bring value to customers' businesses.
  • Build customer POCs that address specific requirements.
  • Be the dotCMS Product Expert within Customer Experience, supporting post-sales activities, product positioning, and responding to technical clarifications.
  • Audit and review existing implementations to optimize them, lowering customer effort and increasing value.
  • Work with Customer Success to identify and document ways customers facing challenges can be stabilized.
  • Document recommended solutions and present them to customers.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Engineering roles, working with modern Front-end technologies such as NextJS, Vue, and/or Angular.
  • 1 to 3 years in Solutions Consultant roles, selling within SaaS, or related industry experience.
  • Demonstrated client-facing experience, working with POCs, especially during post-sales processes.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, cloud computing, APIs, integrations, and relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Scripting, Docker, and CSS frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals and to collaborate internally with other teams.
