Job Summary

As an Assistant Store Manager at Tailored Brands, you will play a key role in leading the store team to achieve sales performance expectations. You will partner with the Store Manager to assist in recruiting, hiring, and training store team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the store team to achieve sales performance expectations through active coaching and development of a team selling environment.
  2. Partner with the Store Manager to assist in recruiting, hiring, and training store team members.
  3. Support the Store Manager in developing game plans and following up on execution to maximize sales and drive consistent performance results.
  4. Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure the store is visually set to brand standards and marketing initiatives are executed per company direction.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 2 years of Retail or Sales experience.
  2. Creative individual who demonstrates good judgement and is tuned-into the pulse of the business.
  3. Self-motivated, results oriented, strategic thinker.
  4. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Demonstrates active listening and problem-solving skills.
  7. Proven ability to train and develop high performing store teams.
  8. Proficient in technology systems, applications, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and be able to stand and walk for the majority of their work shift. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb a ladder to reach merchandise and or supplies is also required.
