About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Horang Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu offerings meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Development

Plan and develop menus that showcase our culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences.

Chef Management

Supervise and mentor a team of skilled chefs to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our restaurant.

Food Quality and Safety

Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, and that our kitchen operations are in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Inventory Management

Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our menu demands.

Equipment Maintenance

Oversee the maintenance and repair of our kitchen equipment to ensure that it is in good working order and that we are able to maintain our high standards of quality and presentation.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior chef role

Language

English

40 hours per week
