Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Remote HR Assistant to provide essential administrative support to our client in Victoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks, including scanning documents, answering phone calls, and performing data entry.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide administrative support, including scanning documents, answering phone calls, and performing data entry
  • Assist with recruitment efforts by screening resumes, conducting reference checks, and preparing new hire packages
  • Coordinate the recruitment and selection process, including advertising, receiving resumes, and setting up interviews
  • Prepare temporary and permanent postings, accept applications, and award positions to successful candidates
  • Perform general administrative tasks, such as handling employee documents, answering phone calls, and data entry
  • Develop and maintain position descriptions and post available job vacancies
  • Provide Employee Orientation and coordinate new hire paperwork, status changes, and salary increases

Requirements:



  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Previous experience in administrative roles preferred but not required
  • Background in Human Resources is a plus
