Job Title: Human Resources Director

Lester B. Pearson College of the Pacific and United World Colleges (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the best candidates are hired for available positions.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
  • Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Develop and implement employee recognition and reward programs to enhance morale and motivation.
  • Manage the employee onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Develop and implement HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on leadership and management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
