Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at FERNIE STANFORD HOTEL & RESORT. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide them with a warm welcome.
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a clear and concise manner.
  • Assist guests with special needs and provide them with the necessary support and accommodations.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Requirements

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
