Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at FERNIE STANFORD HOTEL & RESORT. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling room reservations, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Investigate complaints and claims, register arriving guests and assign rooms, resolve complaints and claims, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Customer Service: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, assist clients/guests with special needs, and provide customer service.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
