Pharmacist - Primary Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our Primary Health Care team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare providers to provide patient-centered care that optimizes safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy.
Responsibilities will include working with interprofessional teams to identify and resolve drug-related problems, completing medication reconciliation, participating in medical rounds, providing patient education, and making therapeutic recommendations. You will also be responsible for ensuring safe and effective drug therapy by participating in and overseeing drug distribution systems.
About YouWe are looking for a Pharmacist with a strong background in clinical practice, preferably in a hospital pharmacy setting. You should have a solid understanding of drugs and therapeutics, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset.

Hours and CompensationThis is a permanent full-time position, with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. The hourly rate is $43.67 - $53.24.
