Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
You will provide service in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings, educating and communicating with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required.
The successful applicant may be required to provide services anywhere within the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is also required.
Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook, are necessary. Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS) is also required.
Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset.
HoursThis is a short-assignment full-time position, with 100% FTE and 75 hours bi-weekly. The assignment is approximately 7 months long.
Compensation and IncentivesThe hourly rate for this position is $33.97 - $42.89.
