Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. Your excellent interpersonal and written communication skills will enable you to effectively educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university and be a member of the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists. Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook, are also required. Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS) is a must.

About YouWe are looking for a Physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. If you have the following qualifications and experience, we encourage you to apply:
- Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook
- Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS)
- Additional courses/education/training in specialized areas or practice, such as cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, balance training, etc.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

HoursThis is a short-assignment full-time position, 100% FTE, 75 hours bi-weekly. The approximate duration of the assignment is 7 months.
Compensation and IncentivesThe hourly rate for this position is $33.97 - $42.89.
