We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
The successful candidate will provide service in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings, educating and communicating with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Physiotherapist with a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is also required.
Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook, are essential. Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS) is also required. Additional courses or education in specialized areas of practice, such as cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, balance training, etc., are an asset.
Hours and CompensationThis is a short-assignment full-time position with 100% FTE, 75 hours bi-weekly. The successful candidate will be compensated at a rate of $42.89 hourly.
