Job Summary
Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking a skilled Area Manager to lead a team of Account Managers within a designated territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business and retaining and growing existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of chemical water treatment professionals to achieve business targets.
- Exhibit technical excellence in chemical water treatment and train/coach others.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen for commercial success.
- Meet and exceed annual revenue targets and key metrics.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, service excellence, and account retention through Value Generation Plans and customer metrics.
- Support selling new business by creating strategic growth plans with the area team and Industry Business Development Leaders.
- Hire, develop, coach, and train the account management team with individual development plans.
- Provide backup coverage for the account management team.
- Develop strong relationships internally and externally.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical water treatment with leadership experience.
- Degree or diploma in engineering, biology, or chemistry, or bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in water treatment and leadership.
- Ability to deliver strong commercial results.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and inclusive leadership skills.
- Knowledge and experience in customer industries (HPI, CPI, Power, F&B, C&I, etc.).
