- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and menu offerings.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met.
- Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to team members to ensure efficient use of resources.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service or culinary role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Client-focused and team-oriented, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require manual dexterity. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
